Wedding Dinner – I booked with them 30 days prior to my event and they were so easy and helpful to work with. We had one meeting and planned it all out and Jenny was always available to answer any questions that came up after. I love how they set the tables and are ready for you hours before your event, it just instantly makes you feel good when you walk in. Love the fireplace, beams and comfortable seats. I had the best wedding dinner.

Affordable and with Extras – Fantastic venue! Affordable, elegant, romantic and stress free planning. The staff is supportive and Jenny is helpful with her suggestions, ideas and quick response to answering our questions. They provide the extras from sparkles to cake knifes, keeping us on schedule and adding the special touch for a memorable experience. Money well worth spent. Easy place to decorate and they allow real lit candles! Sound system was easy to use and excellent sound for the venue. Best part was no clean up! They made is very special for our family.

Worked within my Budget – My wedding was perfect. They took care of every detail which helped a lot since I was from out of state. They were quiet in setting up for the reception and helped with the cake cutting and cleanup. Ivy House was beautiful. They worked within our budget and offered great suggestions. I highly recommend them.

Flawless – We had our reception at the Ivy house and the whole evening was flawless! The flow of the room moved perfectly and the staff were so helpful throughout the whole process from the planning stages clear up through the reception. And the Ivy House itself is just stunning! The ambiance is very romantic and the dance floor made for a fun way to wrap up our evening. They even provided a sparkler send off! I would recommend them again and again! Thanks, Ivy House!.

Modern & Classic & Detailed – My husband and I got married on August 20, 2016. We had looked into several options for our reception, but we were very impressed with the beautiful space at Ivy House. The beams and the decor are very modern but also very classic! When we visited Ivy House, we knew that it was the place to have our reception. We had a wonderful experience working with Ivy House. Jenny contacted us early on in our planning stages to help us get the ball rolling. She considered every possible detail months in advance and gave us suggestions on how to continue planning from here.
The day of the wedding went off without a hitch because Jenny had considered every detail and was very flexible. The other staff were incredibly helpful and complimentary about our wedding.
If you are looking for a beautiful space for your wedding day, please consider Ivy House.

Treated with Respect & No need for Decorating – The reception hall at Ivy House is beautiful! We got lots of compliments on the venue from our guests. We enjoyed that the facility had a lot of existing decoration — we only had to add a few touches of our own. Since the reception hall is connected to the store, the store restrooms are used for events. This was a little weird, but not a big deal. Staff was very friendly and easy to work with. As a gay couple, you never know how well different venues or vendors will work with you. We were treated with respect and equal regard throughout the process. Everything was quick and painless, from the initial tour to the day of the wedding. We would definitely recommend giving it a look!

They do the Cleanup – We were so pleased with the Ivy House for our wedding reception! It was everything we wanted–elegant and simple. The best part was they did 100% of the cleanup, so no stress our family afterward!

Just Showed Up – The Ivy House made our wedding amaxing. They took care of absolutely everything. Whatever we wanted, they made it happen. We worked with Jenny, who is seriously the smartest most reliable woman ever. She listened to all my wants/needs. She was so sweet and made our day exactly what we wanted. The Ivy House crew was so great they made sure everything was set up correctly, and THEN cleaned everything up afterwords. We didn’t have to do a thing. It was great to just show up and everything was already up and ready to go. I loved The Ivy House and I recommend it to everyone.

Simple yet Elegant – We wanted a wedding reception that was simple yet elegant, at a venue that already looked decorated and didn’t require a lot of stressing over decorations on our part. That’s exactly what we got with the Ivy House! It is BEAUTIFUL, and that’s what we heard time and time again that evening. In addition, the Ivy House thought through EVERYTHING. Even the way in which the crowd moves through the venue from the moment they enter the south doors is genius. Planning with Jenny Schreyer only required one meeting prior to the reception, and Terri and Jenny (a different Jenny) did a fabulous job as hostesses the night of our reception. We have already recommended the Ivy House to many. Thanks again, Ivy House! 🙂

Accommodating & Attentive – The Ivy House was the perfect venue for my spring wedding this past April. The staff was very accommodating and attentive and my husband and I could not have been more pleased with how our wedding day turned out! I would not change a thing about my experience with the Ivy House. If you are looking for a wedding venue that is a good value AND and a quality experience then choose the Ivy House!

Easy & Amazing & Patient – Bennie and I loved our wedding at Ivy House. The process was so easy, the staff was amazing to work with, and the event went well. The staff were very patient with us in deciding our reception needs. They offered a lot of great advice and were willing to work with our requests. The evening went a little faster than we anticipated and the staff worked well altering the time frame. Overall we had a great experience.

Welcomed from Beginning to End – From the time I walked into the facility, I was greeted with a smile and felt welcomed by the staff. Lee was a joy to work with! Caterer’s meal was fantastic! Staff so helpful! We will be using them again hopefully in the near future. Thank you for all of your help!

Well Organized – We had our reception here and the staff was terrific. They had everything well organized, set up according to our desires, and we just had to show up and put pictures on the tables. I strongly recommend this reception center.

Convenient with Ample Parking – The Ivy House is a beautiful venue for a wedding reception. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the room was gorgeous. It is very conveniently located in downtown with ample parking. I highly recommend this local venue and accommodating staff to anyone looking for a beautiful location for wedding receptions.

No “Surprise” Charges – Loved having our reception at Ivy House. Everything was perfect! Jenny was great to work with. The facility is beautiful, clean, with so many extras – beautiful centerpieces, linens, DVD & sound system. Loved that there were no “surprise” charges for such things. Employees of Western Gardens were so nice to pitch in and help carry in things for us. Bride’s room was so beautiful and so nice to have a place to put personal items and change clothes. All in all – a wonderful experience!

Salt Lake’s Needed Venue – We would definitely come here again for a wedding reception, birthday party, recital or any other special event. This is what downtown Salt Lake needs. A special place for a special event.

Daughter’s Vision to Fruition – I don’t think I have ever been involved with an event of any kind where those I worked with were more gracious, considerate or accommodating than the folks at Ivy House Weddings. Out of State Planning – I planned my Utah wedding reception from out of state. My wife chose Ivy House through viewing pictures online. We were a little nervous because we had not seen the venue in real life. Our experience turned out perfect. Ivy House is beautiful. My wife and I are so pleased with the service given. If we had to do things all over we wouldn’t change a thing.
